Despite specialists&#8217; diagnosis that the treatment caused unnecessary pain and was ineffective, the parents persisted in their refusal to accept the inevitable.<\/p>\n<p>The High Court ruled that limiting the girl&#8217;s treatment was legal and beneficial for her.
